Dr Rokiah Omar
I received my Bachelor of Optometry (Hons) Degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in1990 and my PhD.in Low Vision from the University of New South Wales in 2002. I have been a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry since 2002 and am currently also an exco member for the Association of Malaysian Optometrists. I am a Senior Lecturer at the Optometry Department, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. My previous research work was on Retinitis Pigmentosa and my field of research interest now is low vision rehabilitation, special population needs and public health optometry.
